Mini's have had their initial rush of newness. There will be another rush every time new ones are released.

As soon as you get a new one, sell it for bug bucks, then purchase one later when it costs 20k >_>

As Mournblade said, new mini pets are always in fashion but as soon as everyone has one it's boring again ^^

I'd be curious to see if ppl still get the same mini-pets for their birthday in a year or so, or whether new ones will replace them.

It would be kinda unfair to new players if you got chapter 1,2 related pets on your first birthday, then chapter 3,4 pets on your second...etc. And people who start in later chapters will be going, wtf is a temple guardian.

Me too. More precisely I'll be getting my first mini-pet in about 4 days.

I've actually had the game for 15 months but I deleted my first couple of chars long before there was any knowledge of this gift later

What are you talking about the new minis being out? Series two wont be out til April 27 on the anniversery of Prophecies/Factions going live seeing as that is the earliest any character could be two years old.

Here's a listing of the first run of minis http://www.guildwars.com/events/inga...aypresents.php
on top of those; you can add Kuunavang, Varesh, and Grey Giant.
